Introducing... THE PILGRIMS' POST!!

Comments from pilgrims who walked on the 2007 Christus Rex Pilgrimage...

Christus Rex, meaning 'Christ the King', signifies that we, as Catholics, believe Jesus Christ to be the true and Eternal King of kings.

To be able to walk under such a magnificent title in itself is enough. The highlight of the pilgrimage for me was to be walking with so many good and interesting Catholics and through this to be able to learn so much more about the faith!

From the many different aspects of the pilgrimage, between the walking, singing and praying in front of onlookers, sleeping on floors, meeting new people, and most importantly coming closer to God, we can take away with us a much easier sense of spreading the truth of Christ's Gospel.

There is also the other main aspect of doing penance, whether it be for a personal intention, the Holy Souls in Purgatory or offering it up for one's sins. All of these things are what make me return to the Christus Rex each year.

Pilgrimage 2007 - another awesome and inspiring pilgrimage!

"It felt completely different, like I was in another world. I just wanted it to go on and on. It is a great way to meet Catholics from other states and get to know them. I hope that nothing will stop me from going again in 2008."
